Eureka – The museum for children
Not too far over the border is Halifax which is home to Eureka, a museum (well I wouldn’t really describe it as a museum) for children.
We weren’t too sure what to expect, the website said allow 3 hours for a visit so we took the train and booked our return tickets for 4 hours later. Everything is interactive and even I enjoyed getting fully involved in all that was going on. The staff were really friendly and also got fully involved with our children. It was busy and there did seem to be a few broken exhibits
