Skipton Castle
Skipton Castle is over 900 years old and is one of the most complete and best preserved castles of it’s type. The website has links to educational resources to support visits and they do battle reinactments.
The website also has a link to Skipton woods which are great, we visit regularly and it is a good place for heron spotting. – H
