Craven Museum
Taken directly from the Skipton Website – In the Town Hall, at the top of Skipton High Street. Upstairs, although theres a lift for accessibility. The museum has bones, skulls, a printing press, loads of geology stuff, grandfather clocks, pianos, old boneshaker bicycles… and lots more stuff. There’s a PC workstation in there with a kind of interactive geology/history lesson running on it, and a collection of old photos to browse through too. There is a new exhibition gallery on the ground floor, with changing exhibitions throughout the year, same hours as the Museum.
